The current planning status specifies the following design parameters:

•    6 silo chambers, each with a usable capacity of approximately 2,000 m³. One central chamber and 5 outer chambers

•    Silo technology – IBAU

•    The outer diameter of the entire structure is approximately 22.5 m

•    Building height approximately 67,5 m silo + 9 m (penthouse) Total 76,5m

•    Silo body design—as a reinforced concrete structure using the slipform method

•    Silo loading via two bucket elevators + air duct distribution

•    Three truck loading points in the lower section of the silo

•    Top of the silo—corresponding steel structures, conveyor technology, and maintenance areas

  1. Subject of the request for proposal

The subject of this request is Preparation Structural Static Calculation of new multi-chamber silo 12.

Documentation will be prepared in English language and after finalization of the project works will be translated to Polish language.

The Project comprises the design (structural static calculation – concrete and steel structure) of a new multi-chamber cement silo at the Nowiny cement plant in Poland.

The silo is designed as a reinforced concrete structure incorporating multiple internal storage compartments and associated process equipment supplied by IBAU. The project also includes supporting steel structures, access platforms, stairways, and interfaces with vertical and horizontal conveying systems.

The design is based on the Basic Design documentation, preliminary structural model, process layouts, equipment arrangements, and load data provided by the technology supplier.

Project is currently in the Basic Engineering phase, equipment locations, load assumptions, and certain structural interfaces remain subject to further review and optimization. Consequently, all currently available load data and equipment information shall be considered preliminary and may be redefined during subsequent engineering stages.

The project documentation will be developed in accordance with the applicable Eurocodes, including the specific requirements of EN 1990, EN 1991, EN 1992 and EN 1993, as well as EN 1991-4: Actions on Structures – Silos and Tanks, together with the relevant Polish National Annexes and local statutory requirements. The design will be fully adapted to the project location in Poland and will reflect all applicable national regulations and standards.

Documentation will be prepared in English language generally and the translation to Polish language will be done before final handover (We expect that the drawing will be done bilingual from the start, but the reports, statical calculation will be translated as a final version).
